ЗАT "Телерадиокомпания "Украина" (Close Joint Stock Company "TV and Radio Company "Ukraina") is one of the major national TV channels of Ukraine.
Based on the results of 2009 the TV channel "Украина" (Ukraina) achieved the position of the third most popular national TV channels in terms of viewer ratings, having secured an average share of 8,52% and 1,3% rating. With this in mind the channel has proved once again its unquestionable status of being the most dynamic among the major Ukrainian TV channels. This is further justified by the fact that its share of the audience has increased by 45 % on the previous year.
The TV channel broadcasts a wide range of information including educational, children’s, entertainment, fiction and sports programs through cable, satellite, on-air broadcasting targeting and covering all groups of viewers.

The most prominent programs of our broadcasting roster are:

• daily social-political talk-show Шустер Live (Shuster Live)
• journalists’ investigation program Критическая точка (Kriticheskaya Tochka (Critical Point)
• musical show Народная Звезда (Narodnaya Zvezda (People’s Star)
• football weekly news review and highlights package Футбольный уик-энд (Futbolnyi Weekend (Football Weekend)

 The channel also traditionally screens a high standard of films featuring the best contemporary foreign and Ukrainian premières to its viewers. The short term aim of our team is to create a media group with one main general interest channel and in addition to this several specific theme channels. The first of these channels is "Футбол" (Football) satellite broadcasting of which was licensed by the National Council for TV and Broadcasting Affairs. The main shareholder of TV channel "Украина" (Ukraina) is the Company "Систем Кэпитал Менеджмент" (System Capital Management) (holding 99.93% of shares) which specialises and has a proven track record in the media industry.
